Step 1: Elligibility
We are open to students of all academic years and majors at UCSD as long as you have declared a minor or concentration in accounting, finance, business analytics, or digital technology
Academic Requirement:
Maintain an overall GPA minimum of 3.0 in your major or concentration.
Transfer students: 3.30 transfer GPA if you don't yet have a UCSD GPA
Provisionally accepted into the Master of Accountancy, Finance, or Business Data Analytics program at Rady also qualifies

Why your GPA is slightly under 3.0 (transition to university, change in major, course difficulty)
Evidence your performance is improving toward the 3.0 requirement
Step 2: Engagement requirements
Professional hours - 6 per year
Weekly BAP meetings (Zoom attendance counts)
BAP-hosted professional events
Non-BAP professional meetings, capped at 5 hours (firm visits, resume workshops, coffee chats)
community service - 2 opportunities
Tutoring undergraduate students
BAP-hosted community service (no limit)
Non-BAP community service, capped at 5 hours
step 3: how to apply
Gather your documents
Unofficial transcript, a recent resume, and (if applicable) proof of admission into a graduate program.
Submit during the application window
Applications are considered only during the first 3 weeks of each quarter. Late applications roll to the following quarter.
Sign up for your interview
After you submit your application, watch your email for a scheduling link to sign up for an interview slot, this happens before decisions go out.
Watch for your invoice
If accepted, you'll receive an invoice by email to complete payment through this website, see Dues below.

Includes an $85 lifetime membership fee to Beta Alpha Psi National.

Transfer or graduate students who are already BAP members: let us know your membership number.
Payment instructions and a secure payment link are sent by email once your application is accepted.
