What fields does BAP focus on?
Finance
Financial advisors, whether they serve in investment banking, private equity or another function will be in demand by a growing list of stakeholders that include corporate boards, regulators, sales and marketing departments, suppliers, and internal and external auditors. Finance professionals are looked at and expected to serve as business partners, understanding the business beyond just the numbers. They will be looked at even more to provide predictive and prescriptive insights to drive optimal business performance.
Digital Technology
Digital transformation is impacting all organizations, industries, sectors, organizations of all sizes, around the world. Demand for actionable information and insights from ever growing amounts of data will require more professionals.
Accounting
The accounting profession continues to grow. Accountants are investing in sophisticated AI driven technologies that will enhance traditional approaches to the way audits, tax advisory and consulting work has been performed. Business leaders will continue to look to their accountants as they increased and complicated new regulations and the involvement of new stakeholder and activist investors.
Business Analytics
At UCSD - students that are in a field of studying focusing on business analytics come from a number of areas of concentrated study.
