Our Story
More than an honors society
Beta Alpha Psi is the premier international honor and service organization for financial and business information students. At UC San Diego, we bring together students across accounting, finance, digital technology, and business analytics who want more than a line on a resume.
Through professional workshops, firm networking, and hands-on community service, we help members grow into confident, capable leaders, long before graduation.
Accounting:
Our core focus. As with the profession evolves with AI-tools, we prepare members for CPA licensure and careers in audit, tax, and advisory. We provide assistance with direct access to Big 4 and regional firm alumni and recruiters.

Finance:
Members pursuing investment banking, corporate finance, or private equity build the same technical foundation alongside their accounting peers, with an emphasis on serving as business partners who understand the numbers and the business behind them.
Business Analytics:
Our business analytics members come from concentrations like data science and business data analytics, working closely with accounting and finance peers to turn data into better decisions.
Digital Technology:
As digital transformation reshapes the profession, our members help bridge accounting and technology: bringing modern, AI-driven tools into audit, tax, and advisory work.
