Qualifications to be a member in Beta Alpha Psi.

We are open to students of all academic years and majors at the University of California, San Diego and the RADY School of Management that have declared a concentration in accounting, finance, business analytics or digital technology.

In addition to this declaration of concentration, you must meet one of the following academic achievement requirements:

1. You must achieve and maintain an overall GPA minimum of 3.0 in your major or area of concentration. If you are a transfer student, you are welcome to apply, but will require a 3.30 transfer GPA (if you do not have a USCD GPA yet), or

2. If you have a GPA below 3.0, you may petition for waiver of the 3.0 requirement. We will strongly consider your application if you can share with us: Why your grades are slightly under 3.0 (e.g. transition into university life, change in major, the difficulty of classes taken) and Show that your academic performance is doing better and will continue to improve and meet the 3.0 GPA requirements in the future.

1. Copy of your unofficial transcript

2. Recent resume

3. If applicable, document that shows confirms your application and admissions into a graduate program.

Timing, invoice & questions.

1. All applications are considered only during the first 2 weeks of the quarter. All applications received after this date will be considered in the following quarter.

2. If accepted, an invoice will be sent for you to make a payment through this website.
