Beta Alpha Psi DEI/AICPA Foundation Membership Grant
Scholarship Announcement

*The following is a reposted announcement directly from BAP

Beta Alpha Psi (BAP) is the premier honor organization for students majoring in accounting, finance, business analytics or information systems. We have over 300 chapters in the US and service many communities. In an effort to expand our representation in these communities, the AICPA Foundation has approved BAP for a grant to help us to broaden our membership inclusion of underrepresented minority students and also offer these students the opportunity to engage and network with other BAP students at our 2023 Annual Meeting in Las Vegas, Nevada.

BAP Membership Grant

For the 2022-2023 year, BAP is pleased to announce funding (as available) that will help reduce one of the potential barriers to membership (the one time $75 membership fee requirement) for students who meet the criteria below.

The Faculty Advisor or Co-Advisor will identify and nominate eligible students from their chapter to receive the grants (up to 10 students per chapter).

Eligible students:

  1. Are members of underrepresented racial or ethnic groups

  2. Attend a university in the US with a petitioning or active chapter of BAP

  3. Are eligible to become a member of BAP:

  • Membership Requirements that include:

    • Majoring in accounting, finance, business analytics or information systems

    • Obtained an overall GPA of 3.0

    • If the student does not meet the above membership requirements, they will not be considered for this membership grant.

The Executive Office will begin accepting nominations on February 1st, 2022. (Once we have reached the limit of 200 scholarships, the link to the online form will be closed.)

Please reach out to BAP at support@bapatucsdrady.org if you are interested in being considered for this scholarship!
